Abrilpar, the holding company of Civita family, controls Abril S.A. and holds a controlling stake of Abril Educação S.A., besides of several other business. Abril S.A. has a Board of Directors constituted by members of the Civita family and the South African media group Naspers. The CEO of Abril S.A. reports to this board and directs the business of Media, Printing, Distribution and Services. Abril Educação, since the beginning of 2010, started to operate separately from Abril S.A., through a corporative reorganization. It is a publicly traded company run by a Board of Directors, a CEO and four directors who support the management of Publishing Houses, Education Systems, Colleges, Preparatory Courses and Language Teaching. The Victor Civita Foundation has a Board of Trusteeship composed of members of the Civita family and other independent members. It also counts on an executive direction that coordinates all its activities. In addition to these divisions, the Abril Group has a strategic partnerships with Caras magazine.
